I sold 4 straws bout 5 years ago £450 each. Was very happy with that and I hope the farmer did well with what he had too as calves.

Iv a few Shatton Pedro left there can’t be many of them left these days!
I too have a couple of Shatton Pedros in there.
A couple of years ago was AI'ing a cow and the AI man never turned up until the next day as van broke down so offered me a free AI service but timings were so wrong . I didnt want to put anything good in so in went Shatton Pedro . Lo and behold a Shatton Pedro bull calf appeared. Unfortunately I was non to impressed with my calf, Lims have moved on a fair bit since then.

I recall seeing Pedro cows years ago, they were nice soft fleshed correct cows that seemed to have milk as they were making a good job of their calves, a lot of today's Lim cows seem to lack all 3 of these characteristics.
Today's Lim is probably a superior grading animal, but I wouldn't say the breed has moved on in every way.
