How much is sigfried semen worth?Butcher was a great bull, I have a Stock bull and a cow off him.
Dual Purpose Flecks will add real milk, but the yields some of them will do, a lot of them may be a bit too much for a single calf. Great for adding milk to herds that have gone too terminal without having to go down the Holstein X route.
I got the Siegfried and Hamlet along with a few others in a retired dairy farmers tank, that was a happy day! Too afraid to use them, they are worth a pretty penny now. They'll have to be used some day though, they don't make much of an ornament
I'll PM you.
I had 2 straws of hamlet, sexed, for 30quid each 2/3 years ago, irrelevant though as neither heldWas speaking to the local Genus tech the other day, 2000 straws left of Hamlet at £50 each.
My first order of hamlet was 50 straws at £5. Just wish I hadn’t used them all
I don't know, I can't bring myself to use them. How much is sigfried semen worth?
I got my delivery of jackpot 10 days ago. Will be interesting to see what he produces. My sister bought a heifer with heifer calf by him at the inland pasture sale. The calf is just blooming every day.Bit of shopping

'Nice soft fleshed' . ....thats a contradiction in terms!I recall seeing Pedro cows years ago, they were nice soft fleshed correct cows that seemed to have milk as they were making a good job of their calves, a lot of today's Lim cows seem to lack all 3 of these characteristics.
Today's Lim is probably a superior grading animal, but I wouldn't say the breed has moved on in every way.
Depends what the subject is.........'Nice soft fleshed' . ....thats a contradiction in terms!
Meant as opossum to hard lean grainy muscle.'Nice soft fleshed' . ....thats a contradiction in terms!

There would be a bit of dust on them by the time some breeders were admitting to service date.
