Currently with HSBC but they dont seem interested in putting my name on the account (currently dad and uncles names). One person said it would cost a fortune to redo the loan agreement and another fella more recently told us just to more online banking.

So dad and I are considering opening a new account somewhere else and when the hsbc loan is paid off in a 4-5years we'll close that

We find Rabobank ( a Dutch bank, dunno if it operates in the UK, I presume it does ? ? ) very good here. They ONLY operate with agriculture, that is their focus & that is all they do. They are very big in agricultural banking / finance in Australia.
They also give you a dedicated contact / “relationship” manager, who deals with our business personally, is our point of contact & who can approve loans instantly up to a certain amount. They have quite tight criteria as to who they will lend money to, even before our banking Royal Commission & tightening up of regulations.

Our banking industry here is very tightly regulated though, no dodgy loans anymore, or buckets loads of cash thrown to people without serious assets / cash flows etc, not like the 80’s ( & subsequent high interest rates ) that brought many people undone
