So the options are so far:

Lleyn.
Romney.
Exlana.

Currently running 400 Cheviot Mules. Cant say I'm as enthusiastic of them as @Agrivator
It would be up against stiff competition with the Simmental X Luing. Simm/Luing bulling heifers are often the dearest of all, but ideally they should be by a Simmental bull with a background of good udder conformation.

Is a Luingus not a composite?

Are Luingus’ any good?
Like all crosses it depends on the quality of the parents.
I've never kept any crosses, Luing cows get AId once and an Angus bull is used as back up. Red heifer calves are kept and black calves and most Luing bull calves are sold at weaning.
I know of one Scottish breeder who is phasing out his SimLuings and replacing them with Luing x angus cows.
