what's wrong with your overalls?

This I just for a little project in doing.
I want to know all the flaws of your overalls ( if it is sizing where exactly ) plus everyone loves a good moan right ?
Thanks in advance :)

I don't wear overalls but the problem I have with trousers would be the same - not hard wearing enough in the knees. When you're loading and unloading small bales all the time, the right knee gets a lot of hammer and is always the first bit to wear out. I must have a dozen old pairs with one worn out knee that are fine otherwise.

Found I struggle lately getting overalls that fit well seem to have all got bigger!

Just got a pair of JCB medium tall and the forearms are really tight on me, large tall makes me look like a fat lad!!

Current quad bike attire is an ex PSNI 'riot suit' with a flame proof 'Proban' outer layer, GoreTex inner layer, thick knee and elbow pads and acres of room for manoeuvring. Only has one pocket, by the left knee, I guess it's to avoid catching the contents of petrol bombs.
£50 from the 'Army Navy surplus' but worth every penny.

Normal boiler suits usually tear between left and right leg when stepping over something. Ditto stretching to each something high when the fabric goes taught, or bending to pick something off the deck.

Never any problems with my overalls! Sorry.
I make sure they are fitted with a YKK zip to start with.
My wife being a textile specialist sorts out any fitting issues plus I try & buy the correct size. The manufacturer has a table of sizes but more often than not folk don't bother to measure their bodies......
Humans come in such different sizes it's difficult to do a one-fits-all so the better manufacturers do a size chart.
There's certainly a market for good quality overalls but they won't be made in the UK as labour costs are just too high. I've watched a clothing/camping co do really well but all their stuff is shipped from China. Quality control is paramount though.

The legs on mine will insist on 'riding' out of my wellies. As it seems to rain most nights that results in them getting soaked every morning while walking through sopping grass.

My 'Sunday best' are a Kverneland pair. I expect they would be quite expensive (given them for testing some plough metal for them years ago.
