Keeping busy with hedges and ditches, but when I've run out of jobs and if the weather picks up next week then no doubt I'll start getting twitchy on the heavy land.

Haven't really got any blackgrass to worry about here, so disease is the reason that I like to hold off for. That said, I'd rather get wheat drilled into good soil conditions and use a T0 spray, than risk a lower GM from spring barley.

Most of my cereals follow maize or potatoes , so nothing to drill yet, not that I would this early . Muckspreaders coming tomorrow onto continuous wheat land . Wind and sun have dried the top again

OSR and wheat usually in the ground for 11 months up here sometimes longer!
