I've got over wintered seed in the shed that could take 3 weeks to germinate , who knows what the weather will be like then .That’s mostly all we get from clay ploughed over like horse heads a couple of weeks ago and now baked solid.

Would it be better to follow ploughs with drill, like in your rape sowing pics. Or at least press or roll behind the plough. That’s mostly all we get from clay ploughed over like horse heads a couple of weeks ago and now baked solid.

Also varieties .
What is the threshold for treating seed? One of mine was 13% fusarium so we did it anyway.

I’m not going to be spraying any pyrethroids on my own land (although I will probably on contract farms). I’m not convinced any form of insecticide is any use or has any place long term in U.K. farming.
Probably end of September. Drilling into a catch crop after osr. I’m trying to build beneficials. We havnt used any insecticide including deter for about 5 years. We aren’t on a particularly bad bydv area. What will be your start drilling date and emergence date on your own land.
This is my point.
