What do you reckon it's yielding?

It looked like you'd got a reasonable amount of straw in your other pictures.
Barley straw yield was good, all that growth when moisture was there. Did about 2t/acre.
Less straw in the wheat but I do sow it thin. Doing about 1.5 t/acre which is better than I feared.

They started for the local TV cameras last week then stoped as soon as they went away! A bit green in the shaded areas and believe it or not it was sprayed off with glyphosate only five days before. Not quite sure why they felt the need to spray off this year. Obviously their agronomist smelt a sale.

Then had the weekend off. I think they’ve got going today, like you.
Why is it that our two big neighbouring estates have to be on the telly all the time?

This is my other field of Shabras on stronger land. Had a good growth reg, and no more fertiliser than the other varieties . Don’t think I’ll dare grow it again.
Hutchinson’s trials it was all down apparently .
That's going to have a monstrous yield, only good crops lodge and still plenty of green in the straw/leaves to finish.

Looks like there's a belt of lighter soil in the bottom right hand corner of that trial area, plots in the top left have a significant advantage by the looks of it?
Top soil is all much the same but of varying depth due to underlying layers of mudstone but certainly some of the varieties will have had an advantage in the last few weeks of grain fill.

good luck with the rest of your harvest
