250kg ish. If the forecast is right we won't be going for a fortnight.
Had a batch of wheat seed arrive with a TSW of 61 ? Seeds per m2 will be less than I planned.
Despite requesting a call once taw was known to amend order before delivery the merchant ignored that ?
We used to be down at around 100 to 140 kg, for early September drilling, it worked very well, until the blackgrass got out of control.just for general interests sake - average sowing rates for wheat here would vary from around 35 - 60 kg / ha, depending on location, timing & variety. I generally plant at around 45 - 50 kg / ha, aiming for about 120 - 150 seeds / m2
on irrigation, rates around 100kg / ha are more common. But wheat is only a minor irrigation crop.

Now later drilling dictates more seed.
