Wheat straw

Just putting the feelers out there for some wheat straw. Must be dry less than 15% moisture Heston size and looking for two amounts potentially.

700 tonnes to be delivered in batches starting from January 2016 onwards.

1300 tonnes to be delivered in one hit in August 2016.

Thanks guys. Price wise what are you willing to sell at @jamesdeere. PM if you want.

@Forage Trader yes full sized hestons circa 550kg in weight. Grade doesn't matter as much as the moisture content. Anything over 15% would be rejected at the weighbridge I'am afraid and each bale on the load would be moisture tested. Wet bales would be sent back on that load. This is for a specific use and one I am just organising the straw for.

At the moment I am just getting some ideas of prices and tonnes available and will continue to do so up to december where an order will then be placed with somebody. You would be paid by a third party coming with all credit checks etc but we would be the point of contact and guarantee the money.

Fortunately for me I live at the foot of the Welsh hills. So selling straw out of the yard has been £60 per ton this year.
Where has the straw got to be delivered?
