We have taken 2 people to the small claims court and won on both occasions....money was paid immediately

You have to apply for a Certificate of Satisfaction to show that there is no outstanding judgment against you. There will still be a record of the judgement.

Not if it’s paid within a month of the judgement. It doesn’t go on record or is at least removed rather than marked as satisfied.

It appears you are correct. My lawyer tends to work on claims in the 100k rather than 100's...

I’m working on one that got given to me when Father passed, the money hadn’t been released from his Estate and, as I was point of contact, got lumbered with a ccj. As soon as I found out I paid from my own pocket but was too late. I haven’t gone to court to have it removed yet and must push it higher on my list of priorities.

Ouch. The speed at which probate works is a disgrace.
