When is a 35x not a 35x

I think it may have been possible to get them without diff lock ?
Top cover is thicker than a standard 35

On a 35 x difflock was optional and so was multi-power. but all multi powers have difflock

Main difference is the gearing and engine revs. also cast liners

35x had square timeing cover where dynomo bolts
Difflock optional
Mp was an option as it was crap back then but worth a pretty penny now on a 35

the diff lock was still an optional extra on 1st 135s, so cannot see it was standard on 35x

I meant i was sausage fingers typeing to fast and mrs nattering to me about something

Yes there was
I believe there was something like 800 made or 80 made is that right
Dont shoot me if wrong
We had one we bought of ebey been parked in a pond for a few months
That took some freeing up had to gas clutch bolts off to split it
It eneded up down devon when we fi ished it

And please also remember these tractor's are 50 years old may have had bonnets swapped etc over these year

I will put a spanner in the works. In 1962 before ithe first 35x was built in Nov, 35 3 cylinder were available with factory fitted difflock and the first multi powers were 3 cylinders built in june 1962

35x has AD 3.152 engine
