Bits get chopped & changed all the time.....have 3 here a fe35, a 35 & a 35x. the 35 was x scraper tractor so the backend was swapped with the 4 cylinder to make a better 3 cylinder 35 before being painted, plenty more localy would have got the same or parts from breakers off any model that would fit.
The 35x is our own & has just been done up, not painted yet but still mobile & doing a bit.

35X runs at 2200rpm and 35 runs at 2000rpm which means that the 35X provides potentially more power with all being in perfect order 44hp. As far as I know.

Our from new on this farm 35 has a difflock ! & not short of hp neither.
I havnt tried reving it anywhere near 2000revs never mind 2200 yeesssh
Sum advert for a tractor thats about 64/65yr old
