When it's a giant tortoise of Fregate Island in the Seychelles .....

Long thought to be exclusively a herbivore, video proof has now appeared on one actively stalking, catching and eating a Noddy Tern chick.

Thoughts?

when they start smelling bacon, 2.5 veggies in daughters uni house, all converted on our home cured bacon, the .5 was a half hearted, fad. Lasted 3 weeks.
However, it does indicate how faddy lifestyle, some veggies are. Vegans, most are fanatical zealots, caused by lack of animal protien. After all, we are taught fire and cooked meat, allowed humans to develop their brains, to be top animal, in this world.

with some of the crap that goes into processed food, you couldn't really know what is real food, and what is chemicals. Perhaps, veggie, or vegan food, without chemical addition, or addiction, may be better for you !
We eat a wholesome diet of proper meat, and veg, so have not got the slightest inclination to try any, but l do have concerns about the long term affects of processed crap, especially with kids hooked on it.

Not Canadian bacon. Sliced wafer thin and cooked till hard. Our experience crossing Canada, others will have different opinions. Great country, never mind the bacon. 😃
Eh🤔, there be good Canadian bacon, just don't mention butter as that would have to come in waxed paper from across the equator and some funny islands on the other side of the Pacific ocean if it doesn't come grom PEI.😄

Pretty sure I’ve read there’s record of sheep/cattle/deer doing the same, the world around us is a lot more complex than we like to make it out to be.

I've seen that. Red deer on one of the isolated Western Isles. Couldn't get enough calcium in their diet, so started crunching seabird chicks.

Not vegetarian, but a muslim colleague was seen tucking into gammon and chips, when questioned about it he replied he was eating the meat of a gammon . ;)

I remember the Muslims at school, breaking their fast with bacon crisps (we had a lot of Muslims).

Not Canadian bacon. Sliced wafer thin and cooked till hard.

That's a crime against bacon. It should be thick cut, smoked and cooked as rare as possible.
