That's madness
Not wrong, would take a picture but it's not mine so best not. Trouble is that they are there for the rest of the year, always seem to lay wet too and combining is a right ball ache. I have made plenty of ruts in my time but will see what rain we get at the w-end and will prob go next week.

Walked my heavier land this morning and despite my wife ringing me when walking the dog, to say it was dry enough to go, my experience said i would sink up to my axles in many places . Wheat always looks half starved in March . Patience is a virtue .

Was down your way last weekend @MrNoo . Very wet around Gloucester and Tewksbury . Daughter took us to see where she works at the Alliston centre by the Uni , and for a look around Cirencester . She lives in Cheltenham .

I finished all the wheat thats through, most travelled well with the obvious odd wet spot! Tempted to put some on the wheat thats poking through tomorrow but nervous with that sinking feeling! Drilled beginning of feb.

I've just finished the 2nd dose on everything which has put the total up to 100 units/ac (125kgN/ha) .
wheat and barley has really made use of the first dose and although it's a bit too early for the wheat I'd rather have a good amount in the crop incase this predicted spell of fine weather goes on into April.

I applied on winter barley 10 days ago....quite a bit of rain the last few days but it has definitely made a difference, can seen the extra green in the crop....total agree about getting into warmer hopefully drier weather....N is best on and into the crop

Still not done any N anywhere and really heavy rain today again. Hope to go Wednesday maybe? Unfortunately my grass customers have been lambing for a week so the fields are now full of ewes and lambs so they are going to be in trouble in a few weeks running short of grass.

Wet as ever here . Another 8 mm last night .
Most crops around here have had nothing.
