Is that not the point to campaign on then rather than abolition?
If AHDB didn’t have a conflict of interest in how my money is spent I would be happy for them to stay,

unfortunately currently they aren’t spending my money wisely!
Trouble is they've already shown what they are capable of. And then, when confronted over the issue, followed it up with all sorts of wishy washy excuses justifying their actions. Not what we wanted to hear. So I'm out.

If red tractor went, then would youstill be pushing for ahdb abolishment?

Is that not the point to campaign on then rather than abolition?
I'd say if they can fix the market access issue AHDB and NFU have jointly helped create, then I'll vote for AHDB to remain.

If they don't get equal market access for UK vs imports, then I think it's so fundamental and such a strategy blunder, that I'D VOTE FOR ABOLITION.

So yes, I agree, that's the point to campaign on, and gives AHDB time to achieve what levy payers are asking of them (before ballot box day).

Interesting few months ahead! Gives plenty of time for our campaign.

They'll all be trying to save them selves. If AIC and RT win, then AHDB and NFU lose, and vice versa.

Bet there's some scrambling for oxygen going on right now. These backstabbing social media peasants are troublesome.

It really is a peasants' revolt.

The NFU and AHDB policies have resulted in markets being closed, rather than markets being developed. That's a clear failure for a development board and a farmers' union.

What were they thinking?

If there were a vote I’m unsure which way I’d go,
The AHDB do a lot of useful work with Recommended List, research and guidance, but their recent involvement with RT and the EA’s new manure restrictions does leave a sour taste in the mouth
I feel exactly the same,I enjoy their research and work on forming the Recommended lists but I'm not happy,at all, with their collusion with RT and the madness concerning the EA and autumn manure restrictions.
