The people who hold power in the labour party want the conservatives to deliver brexit before they push for a labour government in the period of short term pain brexit will bring.

I guess what I am asking is about Mr.Johnson, on the news here today the report was that he becomes PM on Wednesday but then has to receive a vote of confidence..............if he cannot get that then an election is called, I think the point was that he has several who do not like him be the top gun.
The news was wrong, there is no need at all for a new PM to face a vote of confidence. That can come at the behest of the opposition or, given numbers, by the will of Parliament; but it is not required by any convention or legal / constitutional requirement.

If the stupid useless lot of them in that big shed up smoke don't soon get on and sort it out I think we should have a vote of no confidence in the whole bloody lot of them

Hmm, lovely fellow, we wear the same old school tie, but he is having a bit of a meltdown, delicate flower. However, it's not down to one or even a few, there would have to be a lot.
Just what we can do without Duncan, walking out of the FCO just when their is some work to do with Iran !!

The whole front-bench of Labour is a liability. It is unbelievable that Corbyn, McDonnell. Abbot, Thornberry and Watson could soon be in Cabinet, and I think that in the event of a General Election, the Tories should keep pointing that out during the Election Campaign.
