It’s dh Europe that went bang. Sammy’s son. He rented the premises and the newrock name from Jackson I’m led to believe
I have a 2500 gallon tanker off them in fairness it seems well built. Neat welds, strong baffles and I like the way the safety chain hole is welded into the drawbar and the ring hitch as well to give it more strength . Don’t know about the Chinese hos axle under them but time will tell. Hopefully I don’t need any spare parts in the future 🙉

You say you have never dealt with this dealer before, so the dealer has never dealt with you either.
The importer took the order from you and will be invoicing said dealer.
Said dealer will be receiving a cut for processing the transaction.
Where would said dealer stand, if machine was not to your expectations and withheld payment.

At what point would you have paid the importer if you had dealt direct?
Last year I paid the importer once it was loaded for delivery to me,if it had a warranty issue I would have taken it up with the importer.

Our days of buying new machinery are probably behind us but after the last episode, payment in full on ordering was definitely the wrong thing to do. With the benefit of hindsight, payment on delivery would be plenty soon enough.
If a piece of machinery was a special build I might pay for the extras on ordering if the dealer wouldn't take all of the risk.
100% agree. I had a similar experience with payment up front to get a discount. If I every buy new again I won’t make that same mistake .
