I think so, I pay the annual subscription which works out at £150+vat (the vat can be reclaimed, its a farming expense). I just like to have some sort of handle on what the options are for the coming weeks and months. Everything is updated daily, you get short and longer range forecasts, month ahead forecasts, plus there's loads of weather models you can look at to make your own forecast if you want.
Did they forecast the weather we have had well in advance,we could have had a lot more drilled before september 25th if we knew what was coming.

Look at his season forecasts on weather online.co.uk. They have not got a clue. Certainly not worth paying for. BBC forecasts have been very accurate recently

I always assumed that the BBC got their weather information from the met office, surely the the BBC can't afford a weather department with all the so called "super computers" which are needed. So may as well go straight to the met office site rather than let the BBC put thier spin on it..

The Met Office was underbid by the Meteo Group to provide the BBC forecasts, however the Meteo Group rely on raw data from the Met Office. So when BBC forecasts continue to be wrong, the fault could still lie with the data. :scratchhead:
