online application, got to part C summary with total area filled in, pretty sure in previous years part D fills in automatically but it’s blank and don’t know next step, think it should be filled in under land use but can’t work out how to do it.

In land use, lets say 10ha eligible field. Enter 10 ha of whatever crop code (start typing crop, say wheat and list of wheat (winter, spring etc) will come up, click relevant one.

Having already measured around the outside of said field, enter new line for metres of buffer strip, enter new line for metres of hedges , perm pasture... etc.

These amounts will be carried to Part D.

Don’t know your details but are you farming enough land or crops to qualify??
I think it’s because more than 75% of our eligible land is grass, always done it this way before and it’s calculated the Efa and greening amounts and filled in boxes, same land this year.
Maybe they’ve got new software or something

Based on the data you've entered into the individual fields the system calculates if you qualify for the exemptions from crop diversification or EFA requirements and applies that exemption automatically. You do have to be a bit careful taking its word for it, because it will apply the exemption if you qualify by just 0.01ha, so its a good idea to either make sure you're well over the 75% threshold, or that you have enough crops/greening available if required.

Mine looked like that too, I had a worry about it but then worked out that I had just gone over the 75% thing with the grass.
