A video on you tube shows carrot seed being harvested in New Zealand 2 Wks ago,would like to know which area of NZ that might be.
I thought it very interesting.

There's a lot of small seeds grown in Canterbury, don't know much about it to be honest but there's all sorts grown. Always interesting to see a different crop.

I can’t seem to figure out what the apparatus is on the back of the machine just in front of the camera:scratchhead:

It looks like a cotton harvester. That one produces round bales.

Nah, not mine. Just there getting ready for cotton harvest

That machine is a JD CS690 cotton STRIPPER with an extended 12 m front for dryland. They have just bought a second that is still in town getting pre delivery work done. They are a $1,000,000 machine . . .
To the right of that ( just out of the picture ) is a JD 7760 cotton PICKER
Behind them are 3 x JD S690 combines that didn't turn a wheel this year . . .

The 2 strippers have at least 14000 hectares of work lined up this season - at $200 / ha . . .
