Where to buy cows

Do you or your fellow vendors from tb4 areas pre movement before you sell ?
That is something we look for now when buying dairy cattle from.clean areas.
Some do ;most don,t.I occasionally get asked about vaccination policy or johnnes but never about tb.I presume that is because buyers assume we are clean because of the area we live in.Some years ago I pre-movement tested but stopped after 4 months because I gained no new buyers and existing customers did not require it.If a private buyer required it I would do it no problem.A fair few we sell through Gisburn go to Cheshire or north Wales as it is.

nowadays you can look on the ibtb map website and see current and past TB breakdowns. They still ought to ask though.
