Where to get covered open ridge

Remember to set the up stands far enough down the sheet as any water that runs down the back of the up stands goes onto the underlying sheet I have seen plenty of people push the up stand up past the end of the sheets and obviously it rains in more

This works well and is relatively inexpensive

Was going to set sheets 250mm gap
300mm fibre cement flat bit
Then allow 125gap each side of the flat bit to upstand.
Can you buy the metal brackets or do you have to make your own?
Can't see why they just don't supply L shapes that you can lap them or cut extra off as needed.
Only be thin stuff so angle could be modified a little onsite to match different pitches.

Put straps every meter from 40x5 flat bent and bolted on with 8mm roofing bolt then tsk screw lid on top folded from galv it’s a very long time since we did one most have been open with the top purlin wrong side of the clear so it don’t get wet and a ridge over every steel

5mm seems a fare thickness for the little bit of fibre cement it's holding?
I know the wind uplift is more what you've to consider than weight.

When i did one a couple years ago i had to get the brackets made as i couldn’t find a supplier for them. I went for 4mm stainless, then tek screwed 300mm wide Perspex on top. (Had to pre drill for the tec screws)
