Well I told the wife this time last year I wouldn't spend anything in 2017. So I only went and upgraded to a new bale band it and bought a new forage wagon. So this time she knows there could be a tractor at some point in 2018 and nothing else :sneaky:

+1 I certainly wasn’t aware of it until I saw @Wheatland ’s post. I’m not ashamed to admit that I shed a tear reading the story on the website. http://www.rupertsrevenge.co.uk/

If the link is shared far & wide on Faceache & Twatter it can only help.

Good luck Wheatland. There but by the grace of God, as all parents must appreciate.:(
I couldnt read it all or i would have done as well :cry:

She is a very, very patient and considerate women. But after 10 years she knows me better than I know myself. If it wasn't for her, our family and business would be no where near where it is today. I do take a lot of pride in the gifts I give her and I do know that if it had anything to do with a bovine then it would need to have straps and purse to match.

She sounds amazing! :)
Aha but buffalo isn't bovine, although technically under UK law it has to be registered as such. Ofc you could always slaughter em sell the meat and get her a buffalo leather handbag ;) yup I somehow don't think my sales tactic is working...(n) I'll get me coat :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Unfortunately Rupert passed away on Thursday.
I'm sure Ed won't mind me posting this.
He was a very brave, lovely little boy.

Articulated 6x6 dump truck, for leading soil and corn at harvest. Drain jetter and a smaller excavator, think thats about it for now, hopefully before april to keep the tax bill down.

The spending plan is slowly turning into reality

I need to fit new chains to the old round baler.

Have splashed out on 4 new tyres for the quad.

I'd like 4 new tyres on the Kramer...

We're going to throw up a new shed.
But we've already got the telegraph poles and will saw purlins ourselves on the big bench.

Change the digger, put up a shed to get some kit under cover, concrete slab for tractor/hedge trimmer to sit on level (because axle brackets) cut some tress down to make a bit more room, maybe a bit more concrete to create a 'wash bay' and somewhere where you can put your tools down in something that's not mud, scrape the yard/track as its getting pretty sh!tty. I'd like to change my car but I could do with making some money first....

Would like to change the mower for one bigger but I think we'll just hang on another season... need to look at rake options more closely, bigger single rotor or small twin rotor.

Absolutely non of the above is really going to really make me any money, it'll just make life easier so that I'd be happy with.
