The girl doing them is in her early 20s not long out of college or werever she qualified so she had to be cheaper than the rest to get a foot in amongst the competition. We will get 200 edited pictures on a USB stick and she said we can have all the unedited ones too if she is happy with themfor the £500. We already had a little hour and a half family shoot on the farm with her to see what she was like £80 for 20 edited pictures and the best of the rest unedited on a USB again. Easy to get things printed off yourself now a pile of those pictures and 3 canvases we ordered ourselves arrived yesterday they look really good.
The only rights she wanted was the option to put some of the best on her FB page which we agreed to to help her out. We could have opted not to though.

We stuck one of those cheap, disposable cameras on each table too, with the idea that you'd get plenty of spontaneous photos of your friends (and the other guests) enjoying your day.:)

Just be prepared to ditch plenty of 'willy' photos too, IME.

regular study tours of europe and beyond, the only way to judge world agricultural production in this era of false news is by personal verification Im thinking of starting with a cross border drive through the plains of northern europe with a visit to an alpine meadow in feb/ march should really have a look see at the prospects for winter kill in january as well before going to inspect the drought prospects throughout the world later in the year
Mmmm I could go for that, just need to get it past the accountant.

We are about to sample healthcare outside the security of the UK and the NHS as my son starts immunotherapy in Barcelona next week running for the next 6 months (hopefully). The costs are eye watering and open ended.
Puts all of our moans and whinges into perspective. I hope the operation goes well for him and are you doing any fund raising to help with the cost? If so please put a link up, apologies if you already have further on in the thread.

Another + for healthcare outside the UK. The German healthcare system is on par & probably better than our NHS. No2 son discovered this last year whilst working in Berlin. Operation was a success & all clear. NHS check up six months later exclaimed 'all the notes are in German'.......But still all clear. Medicare in OZ is also second to none. You have to pay but it is a good system.
I send you best wishes for your sons treatment.

Getting done on the cheap is what we wanted to do the whole time just interfering family are a bloody pain. She wont say no to their faces because she doesnt want to upset anyone so i get to do it. Lucky me :cautious:
We will wnjoy it. We are getting our own way in the emd just putting some noses out of joint doing it. Everyone else who isnt family seems more exited about a do in a shed than they do about other peoples weddings in posh hotels which is what i expected really. Not looking forward to cleaning it though theres 40odd store cattle there now and depending on the weather there will have been hundreds of sheep lambing through it and calving cows before then (n)(n)
just bugger off to Gretna green by yourselves

Ask them to use their smartphones. These are better than disposable cameras. Create a closed user group album where they can upload their images and send them the password. I haven't set one up but have used one at a small wedding. They had about 600 photos uploaded in all. About half were taken by 'proper' cameras and the other by phones. About 25% of the ones I saw were crap, out of focus and too much image noise and poor framing and so on.Posted at full resolution to the supplied web address and they had around 250 extra nice photos apart from the paid photographer's. They were a different perspective and of different guests and mostly not too posed. More relaxed and natural.
No willies either, because most thought, rightly or wrongly, that the individual photographers could be identified by the happy couple and all the other photographers who had been given the access password.

+1 I certainly wasn’t aware of it until I saw @Wheatland ’s post. I’m not ashamed to admit that I shed a tear reading the story on the website. http://www.rupertsrevenge.co.uk/

If the link is shared far & wide on Faceache & Twatter it can only help.

Good luck Wheatland. There but by the grace of God, as all parents must appreciate.:(
