Hi folks,
Looking for another tractor at 200hp and have a t6080 low bonnet to swap in against it. Looking for something compact with a decent turning circle and front links and pto. Main duties will be mowing with front and rear, carting silage and raking with some big square baling in straw time. Anyone got any ideas? Would a decent t6080 remap to 200hp if you had the high bonnet version with better cooling?
Thanks
Mark

6080/7.200/7.210 will run at 220 on the shaft for fun. Just dont let a monkey haul heavy loads with it as gearbox will be weak point.

The T6090 is virtually the same as your 6080, mine was re-mapped and will run 234hp on the shaft on boost. But I only run a Combi on it, rest is top work where it runs at 170 off boost.

I’m looking to swap it in around april may time. It’s the right size tractor for us as a lot of narrow lanes and tight gates but I need the 200hp for the mowers as there’s a lot of hills here. A fergy would be a good tractor I think but is the dyna 6 abit weak? I heard they have a fault and wear the clutch pack out on the main used gear? Wouldn’t mind one though if they wasn’t bad for that? Would a t7.200 run that power and pull a 16t silage trailer all day. I think the 50k clutch pack is a weak link?

This would be my choice in your situation, but if its regular pilot is happier in a blue one, it'll get looked after better.

We have run 180hp masseys with dyna 6 for years. We've had 6480s mainly and a 6616 as well recently. Doing mainly field work with a bit of road but not masses. Have never had an issue with dyna 6 boxes even on a tractor that we sold on 14000 hours.
Last year we bought a 6480 2011, 3.5k hours ,front links and pto, 50k, electric spools and good tyres for 36k. I would've thought you could get a similar spec 6490 for under 40. Use this for mowing with doubles, running the trailed forager, ploughing and just general dairy farm work. Is ideal and better than the newer ones as no ad blue hassles and much more comfortable.
But if you already have NH then it may be simpler to stick to one colour. I don't have much experience of them but most of our nieghbours have t7 200s and similar so they can't be too bad.
