Large mixed dairy farm, using the plough to prep seedbed for wheat, maize and grass.
Have had 2 kverneland, a 4 then a 5, with a 200 headstock, kind of looking for another kv, but both have had a bit of bother with the valve block, and don't like the fact the variwidth had no grease points on, and see plenty of of kvs with welding on.
They do however hold their money really well, what are opinions and pros and cons of other brands, do kv hold their money because they are the best?
Ploughing with a 4220 so weight not a massive issue but must be auto reset.
I like the look of the kuhns seem better price 2nd hand?
I've seen reasonably priced amazone, the caryos, and new Holland ploughs which I believe are overums?
Will I be disappointed if I stray away from kv? Medium soil with some stone and plenty of muck to Bury!
