Jesus, I wish there were more like that ,
That's absolutely what it's about, working together. All take and no give from either side dissolves a relationship very quicklyAlso says something about the buyer. Good buyers/payers don't get forgotten either.
I've some customers I'd lend anything to help them out.
I've others I'd be reluctant to lend a bent nail
Trouble is he'll be retiring long before me.Jesus, I wish there were more like that ,
Been dealing with him 18yearsThat's absolutely what it's about, working together. All take and no give from either side dissolves a relationship very quickly
You know where to go for your next sprayerNot a dealer, but Knights Farm Machinary have been extremely helpful to me over the last month.
My non-Knights sprayer fried it's engine management ECU and it is now an obsolete part so it is taking a while to sort out and probably won't be back in action until the autumn.
Knights have really helped me out of a hole in many ways. From hiring me a sprayer to get caught up, to helping refurbish a back-up sprayer, their help has been much appreciated.
R&R Mills contractors also got my pea pre-em on for me at very short notice after my sprayer broke-down.
He also may have had quite a distressed phone call one day near Christmas when I lost a load of muck on roundabout next to them. Quite a few men and a telehandler were VERY quickly dispatched and the muck reloaded and road swept as the police drove by. Beers were nearly as quickly delivered to them and gave him a bottle of whisky
Jesus, I wish there were more like that ,
next machine has already been sold to himService like that won’t be forgotten in a hurry!!
we run a one make fleet here, got one tractor thats been a ba$tard cost a fortune. last issue short of power having new ecu, big bill , have it back in dyno re map , another £££££, decide to put up and shut up. manafactures rep called few weeks ago , i told him the tale and we were sick of it , , he said its now in his hands and thered be no more bills! we wait and see if they get it right he wont get a sale because non of um need changing..Frightening what these main dealers charge nowadays , i know they have bills to pay but its not for the faint hearted to send anything in to be fixed or serviced. You can see why the one man bands working out of the farm workshop are so in demand at atleast half the money.
I expect the farm you were working on received a bill for the work done though.I must say I was impressed a couple of years ago when the farm I was working when I had to take the tractor to the dealers for it's annual (out of season) service and when I came to pick it up they had swept out the floor and replaced all the windscreen wipers, the washers were suddenly working and every light and switch was all fully functional as well. I'd never have expected that from a dealership out to do regular servicing or is this what customers expect these days?

Might have swept the floor out before it went in to them
