Which feed wheat?

Looking for a new feed wheat. Has anything performed well the last few years? Not Extase!

Gleam has done the business again. I grew Graham too, but overall preferred the gleam.

Saki was a bit disappointing so cutting it down to a smaller area, more skyscraper as that always seems to do well and ordered some gleam for the rest

Tried and tested. The Graham looked the better crop. But heap slightly smaller.

still have 20% of gleam to cut and all the graham but i think it will be all gleam next season all HSS if it can take the last 10 mths and yield what it has why change?

I've cut some just over two and a half ton, and some a smige over three, looked better on the cutterbar than in the tank.

No expert but Sartorila and Siskin have yielded extremely well so far.

Gleam has been the best here for three years. Some epic yields. Graham did look the better crop, but wasn't. It was about a week earlier though. Neither bad. But only room for one.

We grown gleam the last thre years and the good bits were very good but it didnt like the last two winters, have ordered so insistor as it's meant to develop bigger roots at an earlier stage plus slightly better sep t rating and specific weight which we always struggle with here

I keep getting told to ditch JB Diego from the mix but it has performed very well this year and always does a decent crop

how much worse was the saki? We grew gleam saki and viscount and tbh not much between all three. Gleam maybe beat the other 2 just. Will drop the viscount after 12/13 years of hss service and keep the other 2 and try a small area of dawsum if we can get some seed. I liked the look of saki all year, tillered extremely well and never had any disease in it and was on the heavier land that we have. Never tried skyscraper was too worried about height and lodging.
