Hi, I'm after some advice please. I have a 52hp Kubota on a caravan park and am looking for a suitable fertiliser spreader. What do you use / recommend please. Thanks in anticipation.

Bought one of these in 2019 from this Company based on a recommendation from and Irish TFF'er.

Very pleased with build, based on a Vicon bottom end witha galv chassis and polyprop hopper, and at the time a lot cheaper than a Vicon. Might be tough to get one here now though from NI, but maybe worth a call?

I use mine on a Kioti 50hp compact, so very similiar to yours. It was bought as a lot less weight than small Teagle spinner. Needs a bit of weight on the front end if I put 600kg in mind...! :)

Will a caravan park need that much fertiliser? A Vicon PS225 will hold 200kg and have a low filling height. If you find you need more capacity add an extension and turn it into a PS335.
If buying new the same spreader is available as the Kubota VS220/330

You do realise if you fertilise the grass you will end up mowing it three times as much!
Thats what I was thinking, if true surely a mulching mower would be a better idea.

Unless there's livestock grazing there or field or 2 with no caravans on and hay made or something i guess but even so....

The plot thickens :D

We take the clippings off to test annually and always have to balance with P and K to stop weeds and sometimes PH to stop moss. Max of 4 big bags a year but it's vital for us to keep things looking good.

Do you spread salt/grit on roads in the winter? I use a vicon wagtail for this, so might be used more than you expect. I think it has a specific spout for this job. New it was a lot more than £150, but guess depends on condition/age.
