Makes that Lensa @ £89 look a bit pricey

We have x4 lined up in kitchen on cup hooks. Easy to run to the USB on switch leave overnight. Good thing is with the last one we bought you can interchange between a couple of standard batteries or rechargeable battery. Happy with quality. For the money etc best useful items on farm.

Like the cup hooks idea. USB rechargeable has got to be a no brainer, my old Lensa eats AAA's, always manages to turn itself on in my pocket, even with transport lock function!

We have 4 of these.
Oldest is at least 6 years old and still going strong. Bright enough for general work but not super bright for long distance.
2 brightness settings, flashing and red lights. Used every day throughout winter and quite regularly in summer.
Also got a Lenser non rechargeable, but that doesn't see much use these days.

If you want a cheapish option I'd recommend them.

I have a petzl ‘tikka Rxp’ that automatically switches from full beam can see 30m+ to a fraction of that for close work, is very handy.

Must be getting on for 8 years old now, battery doesn’t last as long as it did but still get a couple of hours use out of it.

Nitecore HC30

5 levels of brightness
Takes 1 18650 rechargeable cell
No USB port to knacker, no cable to pull out, small enough to go in your pocket, damn near indestructible.

If its low on charge just change the battery...
I can second this. I own an NU35 which also has a physical protection cover to keep all of the muck out as well as stopping accidental activation. I got mine from here https://lumospro.co.uk/product/nitecore-nu35-rechargeable-led-head-torch-light/
It's a quality torch and you'll still have some cash in your pocket.

It has a full and a low light

It turns on the full first and press a second time for low, then once more to switch off

I mainly use the low around yards etc as full is too strong for there and only have to press once then to turn off

Cheetah headlite are about €50 I find them perfect. They are rechargeable, hold the power very well, have full and half power, adjustable heights and are very robust
