which industry of farming do you advise to get in?

Come up with an ecologically nurturing system for whatever you do. I foresee a time soon when the sale of food products from the farm will be under 25% of receipts:

Carbon offsets
PES payments from water companies
Biodiversity offsets
Access payments
Research grants
ELMs
NFM flood reduction payments
Income or profit?
What costs are involved producing these new income streams?

That's why we sell a grazing service

Sales of product will be lucky to reach 3% of turnover for the FY ahead, and Grant certainly aint coming here 😙 🙄

That depends how you approach it and how their markets develop really. If the way you farm inherently improves water infiltration and retention then there's no cost in creating the benefit being paid for in flood reduction or water resource replenishment.

If your farming system doesn't use agrochemicals then why not take money from the local water company to not use agrochemicals?

What do you mean by sell direct
Sell what you produce direct to the consumer. Check out the wholesale egg price compared to the supermarkets as an example.

Other people are making a living from under 20 cows because they are selling milk through a vending machine. Look up the difference between wholesale milk and the supermarkets (which they say they don't make any money from)

It all depends what you feel like doing and what you want to invest.

Where are you in the country?

which industry of farming do people recon is the best paying e.g arable, dairy, pigs, sheep ext.

If “best paying” is your selection criteria then I’m not sure farming is your best career choice. Lots of factors matter - how much you are able to invest to start the business, what level of lifestyle are you prepared to accept and where your talents lie, for a start.

Great film, I’d have preferred it if you’d put up a clip from a few minutes earlier in the film featuring Sienna Miller
Daniel Craig's Audi is a highlight for me.

And the scene where Sienna Miller was dancing in the nightclub where she first meets Daniel Craig.

The late nineties was a great era in my opinion. Think if I had a time machine I would go back to Brentwood in the late 90s early noughties. Loved working/living down there.
