Probably been done to death a bit like the pickup 1 but here goes.
Thinking of changing our 10 year old Hudson 12 ft trailer but what to go for.
Graham Edwards
M tec
Indispention
Looking at 12 ft wheels on the outside no decks.
I like the look of the mtec is anyone running 1?

Looked at am Mtec recently. Feels like it's hewn out of granite, would last a long time. Wouldn't suit me though, the ramp for the decks is too heavy for lifting and the ramps are steep compared with the Ifor. If only for cattle then a good trailer.

I enquired about mtec's new hydraulic deck. Wait it's ball park £25,000 and is due to go to production first quarter of 25. That's more then a Gamic by a chunk. It does look like an incredible bit of kit but for 25,000 you could buy a stock shed and have 5k spare for a old ifor or GE.

That’s expensive ! How much are they none hydraulic? Wont cost the earth to add hydraulics to a trailer these days , electric pumps rams pipes quite cheap really …

I shook the sides of an Mtec at Sommet Elevage in France last week. Very sturdy . Whole height stockman door with detachable mid rail bar

Well made

Gamic only advantage is lifting tray so you’re back with where I was ; Graham Edwards 12 (or 14ft) x 5ft 8 or 6ft 3im , a Porter or possibly an Marc

Ifor usual thing about build but light and good resale

That is about what I was told at RWS. Nearly £10k on a Gamic.
Can't see why you would, tbh.

Changed our ifor after 10 years, got what we paid for it, only needed brake serviced. Replaced with same. Remember if pulling with a pickup, a heavier trailer is loosing load capacity. Assuming you want stay within the law.

Replaced our 14 year old tri acle 14ft Hudson with a tri axle 14ft Nugent. Looked at Indespension but it didn't feel strong enough for bulls and big cattle to rumble about in, couldn't afford the Falcon so went with the Nugent.
Pulls ok...not as well as the Hudson did though. We had 2 dividing gates in Hudson, so if we only had one or two cows in it we could keep them on top of the wheels, yet in the Nugent theres no holes/ catches for the dividing gate to shut off the back 2ft, it stops at 10ft you could say, so can't even shut a calf in the very back to go to a show or that.
Plus no pin at the top of the dividing gate to shut it round open, its either to be closed or not in the trailer at all. Just feels like they couldn't be bothered getting the finishing touches right that make a difference for the end user.

Don't think they will be shifting many of those are that price. Silly money.
