@Deutzdx3 i paid less than £800 for mine, I am happy to take the risk of an issue with a circuit board, I have some really good electrical engineers locally that I reckon would be able to test and repair a circuit board should,I require. The consistent arc, increased penetration, and userbality of the machine is henominal!

If you have people to repair that’s a result. I run migatronic double pulse. Most people would have to bin it if it went wrong. The top end machines are good but they are more sensitive with out a doubt than cheaper machines. Superior weldability but with a long term price attached.

I think @tinman has a 400 amp oxford
good memory lad.
its an oxford 410 screwed to 450A.
its not nearly as fine tuned as a miller but price is reflective of that.
its a grand welder, never gave any trouble as its got the copper winding's, parts are no problem if ever needed and its made in the uk.
its not a shy welder and will weld anything from light metal to heavy metal.
the more expensive welders have a lot more bells and whistles but as for a welder to weld its spot on.
