Which New Livestock Tractor???

Hello new here, just wondered if the more knowledgeable here could give some advice on a new tractor.

No experience of MF, JD, Claas. Fendt is certainly out of the question!
Had Valtra, Case, Zetor and NH.

Looking for something comfortable. Must be 115/120hp+

Preferably suspension - never had it but must be better than nothing!

Powershift transmission.

Cost is a consideration. Like for like for similar machines who is cheapest/dearest?

Most/least reliable??

I appreciate everyone has different opinions/brand loyalties but I really would appreciate some pointers on where best to spend the money from people in the know.

Looked into NH and Valtra so far, haven't driven any yet though. Anyone had a go of a Valtra G series yet?

I'm not up to speed on all the new makes and models.

Many thanks for any pointers.

Do you have dealers that are local with good a good reputation and back up I always think that’s a good place to start

We have a Claas Arion 610 CIS on our feeder, comes off for all sorts of jobs.

It's simple, reliable and gutsy. Everyone likes it that drives it because it doesn't make a fool of anyone, you can work out in 30 seconds how to drive it.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Someone suggested to my father to look at Claas too.

And yes @Sheep it will be a loader tractor. It'll be used for baling and wrapping/stacking and feeding silage.

It would need to have a stop/go function as the current Valtra does. I would miss that on the baler.

@Fendt516profi I was just ruling out Fendt on price - I always got the impression they were much more expensive????

One of the biggest problems Fendt has is the perception of their cost. I would never have dreamed that mine would have been so much cheaper than the equivalent MF.

I'll come at it from a slightly different angle, do you need a new tractor, can the business justify it, would you be better off keeping what you have and contracting some things like baling out, what do the numbers say?

I only ask because this forum is full of people saying farming doesn't pay but then relatively small farms seem to have an awful lot of new equipment.
I'll get shouted at for this but I always see a red flag when people start buying tractors with dads money.
Welcome to TFF there's hundreds of "which tractor" threads on here. (y)
