Just listened to the farming today on radio 4.

There was an interview the Welsh first minister and Christine Tacon about the report into red tractor.
Neither interview was a good listen for working farmers, each in their own way has a major influence over the industry, but listening to them, both think they are right and nobody else’s opinion matters.

Are we wrong? Or are they so far down that route that they have tunnel vision and are no longer able to take on board other or new views?
We are not wrong!! Certain influential people all mix together unfortunately and those above i bet are mixing with the civil service who actually run the country but they do not run it for the long term and cannot see longer than a few years when they will be retired then another in the civil service comes in and alters rules again but at massive cost to taxpayer and so the cycle continues. As farmers/ growers/producers we care for the long term and our plans are long term and can see the bigger picture of certain events way before they take effect, which the civil service cannot.

I suppose like anyone, they are obliged to defend their position(s) whether they like it or not.

However, in the Welsh case, I think we have finally woken up to the fact that the Urban Labour Party of Wales (for that is what they are) are only interested in making Wales "World Leading" on Climate Change and so therefore will adhere to anything that remotely smells of mitigations. What they fail to realise, of course, is that we are a tinpot country the size of a postage stamp that will make absolutely no difference to CC. But can you tell them that? Duck or you'll be hit by a flying pig

World leading at chucking citizen's productivity under a tram

But not for long as all these shiney-arse spunkfunnels are in the same race, and all as desperate to be on the podium. We're their fuel
