The never ending.
Also when you finance a tool say a tool box at 3k the lad gets down to say £250 left on the toolbox and books something else down.
Then £250 later he does the same etc and so on, over a few years he builds a nice little collection of tools.
He then decides for whatever reason to miss a payment bla bla bla, mechanicing isn't for him, but ok Ive got my tools to sell on.
Wrong mr snapon is quite within his right to come and lift everytool purchased that has been financed on drip as the actual balance has never been cleared for anyone tool.
Now is that a tw@ts trick or what.

Snap-on dealer was never really keen with us as we paid him when we needed anything and most of his visits were used to replace brocken tools!!! Their circlip pliers were a joke and we always had at least one split socket!!!!

I've over years had a couple of grands worth of tools that they won't replace wait for due to ..................... Abuse/misuse, ok sometools yes do get use incorrectly from time to time but! When Phillips screwdrivers points just snap off and you get told that you've used it on the wrong type of screw just hangon a minute Mr snap on.
What about the pi55 poor impact gun you've sold me that you say (give it time it will come to) yea until fudges up out of warranty.
I've spent a fair bit of money on his van over the years
His sockets ain't Milwaukee proof Mac tools are
But apparently I've been miss using the socket :rolleyes:
Mac guy gets our trade now the back up is second to none (y)(y) and he does slot of other tool brands to dewalt facom teng Mac so plenty of choice
Oh and Mac's snap ring pliers are awesome (y)
I've got a fair amount of Bergen stuff to,which to be fair isn't that bad it's an easier pill to swallow when you loose a tool out on farm or need to get welder and grinder out to modify :D

Think @multi power was just making the point a punch is a punch as long as it does the required job. It doesn't have to be a branded item with a fancy handle.

Best punches (or drifts) we use, are short high tensile (8.8) or even cap head bolts, held with vice grips, it has to move .......

most of the punches out there of any kind of decent brand are ok as long as you dont go over board on the weight contacting them.
as previously said, get it to move first and then use the punch.

ive a king tony paralell set here mostly because it had a 16mm one in it, its ok stuff.
i have the facom set too and a mix then between craftsman, beta, elora and some others too numerous to mention, there isnt much in them tbh.

tbh, if a punch was so hard that you couldnt damage it then it id probably snap before you did.
