I’ve been using a 225l Simco tank with a both a 3m nozzled boom and also an x-boom that will spray 9m but is only about 2m wide itself (uses flood jet nozzles on the boom ends). It’s just coming up to 5 years old and has covered 250 acres per year of spraying in a solar farm, as well as multiple paddock spraying (probably another 50ac per year) as well as footpath spraying. I also use it to spray the grain stores as we’ve got a 6m long hand lance with it. We had to upgrade the pump to maintain pressure. Without checking I think we are now running a 40l/min pump so we can hold 1.5bar pressure. The standard pumps are no where near enough for continued use. Everything came from Spraytech and they are very good on backup parts.
