Which rake is considered the best, obviously clean pickup is essential but also how easy to repair if it strikes a pole/ bale. I saw a newish Claas all dismantled from power pole damage and it looked a big job. I thought they were supposed to bend an external part that swaps easily?. The Kuhn here costs £40 to change the little short shaft that snaps on impact but can bend arms too. Experience on the Claas and krone would be good..
The other thing i don’t get is why there are plenty of twin rotors about but none of the ones that make two rows.. surely that is a massive time saving and still sensible sized bouts for most jobs?
