We use an AG on a skid
Unless you intend to use sand, you can save moolah by buying a conventional 150 and fit a "spider" (to stop bridging - you WILL thank me) over a hybrid

If you want to demo a new AG Hybrid pop me a message with your details, I'd normally recommend the 125 or 150 hybrid for a skid steer. Depending what material you're spreading.
Options of conveyor or spinners; optional top agitator, fingers & paddles and a KSW kit to allow lime, straw & water mix to be dispensed.

The spider unit Rick is speaking about is a pegged wheel that it driven by the auger, It helps to break up bridging on the original style dispensers. Designed to help stop the bridging of chopped straw and sawdust. Rick has recently fitted one because his sawdust was bridging.

Do you get many people using lime, straw and water for bedding? Someone on here asked about it once, but nobody knew anything.

In the UK there are a handful of farms using it with our machines including a college farm. From what i've been told by them it is a good replacement for sand in deep bedded cubicles. Cows seem to like it and they're keeping low cell counts and bactoscans. Only real downside I've heard is it is quite time consuming to make a mix up.

I've heard that it can set hard. I guess there must be a way around that
