Which spray?

I put in a field of rape and Italian last year with the intention this year to cut once and then spray off before short second cut to put in a long term.
It hasn’t been shut out long and grass is looking well as I also scratched more italian in this spring to make sure but now there’s a few seedling docks, daisies and butter cups.
What spray would be best to use now to wipe them out before cutting and then round up in a couple of months time? MCPA type just to knock them or pastor type to hopefully do the job. Or would you not bother, cut young so docks hopefully don’t go to seed and just round up before second cut?..I don’t fancy that route though..

This is the field in question, looks ok until you get up close.

If I understand you correctly in a few months you are going to wipe it out , that is the time to hit the docks . Just before you take a cut , so you will ether have to delay your cut or cut twice , there is another spray that's stronger than roundup that will do a better job if you don't mind the cost

Yes that’s correct but I want first cut without roundup and I’ll hit short regrowth second cut with round up. Problem here is I can make a mess in a short time if weather isn’t right so I want the first cut ‘right’, short second cut that’s not ideal if weather turns after 5 days is not so much of a gamble as I can waste the bales feeding out on the floor. Cost of spray isn’t a massive issue as it’s only an 8 acre field so please do advise on what’s best regardless of cost.

Don’t use mcpa, it will knock the grass back. It won’t be obvious but it’s surprising how much bulk you would lose. I know, I did a stripe a couple of years back.

Thanks for all those replies, very helpful. Yes last thing I want to do is reduce cropping, that’s why I stitched in some more Italian as I was worried it was a bit thin. Don’t think I needed to worry really as it’s ok for what it is. Was drilled with aitchinson so seemed too much bare ground between rows hence the scratching and now the weeds have come.
Leystar or fluroxypyr it is..off to google..cheers chaps

Roundup sends them to heaven here but it has to have time to work and catch them right , at full rate
kyleo supposed to be the best but not used it yet

Kyleo does work well, but it's £30/ha and a month before you can drill clovers afterwards. I've just had some delivered for a field like the OP's that is infested with nettles (was clean before DD last year :scratchhead: ). I'll put a bunch of dry hoggs in there to graze for a month 5 days after spraying.

Straight glyphosate will kill young docks well enough ime.

Thanks handy to know about Kyleo, I did think of trying some but not if you can't drill straight after
