Which sprayers nozzles?

Not 100% sure. Think there maybe just IDKs they aren't the really coarse spray pattern that some folk use.

I use blue FF’s and 120 litres at 2.5 bar for most stuff, and then when the breeze gets up a bit I use the lilac GA’s or Bubble Jets at 3 - 3.5 bar.
Those two nozzles do everything I need between them.

We only have a choice of Teejet TTI/ATTI, Lechler ID3, BFS Bubble Jet and BFS EX Ray xc. (Severn Trent Scheme). Was thinking Ex ray xc .

I think the most important thing with spraying is to be able to get around in a timely manner. Low water rates help with this.
I have an out lying block I always do in 2 tank loads. I could do it in 1 tank load if I went at 60 l/ha, does anybody go this low?
Which would be the best nozzles in this situation?

Got rid our Guardian Air 03s last year. Now on BFS 03s.

What you’ve got there is good. I use 025s and 100 l/ha to make each load go a bit further.

0.35 GAs at 150l here or 0.35 Defys, if I need coverage and the weather allows it.

It’s ok guys no need to fall out there invariably never is a true best nozzle a lot of horses for courses we tend to use guardian air for most jobs but wo7ld be interested in knowing the price of the ex ray bfs nozzles just out of interest although I have just replaced a se5 of guardians so not needing new ones for a bit

Same here, get good results from GAs but every day's a school day. Also aware of the fact that the flat fan boys will be quietly laughing at us fashion victims rushing headlong in to the next trend.

While we are talking Guardian Airs how do people go about dismantling them to clear a blockage. Is there a special tool rather than a pen knife which inevitably cuts the spurs off in time?

Take nozzle out of body, then push it back in the wrong way, ie from the out side so it acts like a holder. Then pliers on the 2 tabs and twist slowly and pull. Seems to work for me.

All Clear Extra used neat is very good at dissolving blockages. Just leave them to soak for a few days then rinse & blow out with an airline.

Get a 6" piece of multicore copper flex, strip half the insulation off then use one of the wires to poke through the nozzle, saves dismantling them and twisting off those little tabs

BFS 04s Air bubble jets. Have now got some BFS Exray XCs one angled forward & one straight down. Haven't tried them yet.
