Which tablet to get?

Was the 5S on 3G only contract? My 5S has no problems picking up 4G signal.
Mine doesn't either. No problem and as good as my daughter's iPhone 6 as far as we can tell. 'Performance all round" is probably better in theory but we mere mortals here can't tell. The new ones do have some added features though but I've no idea what they are. I can't use my 5s to pay, because it lacks NFC, but not sure the cheapest new one does either. Check it out. Can it charge wirelessly, for instance. I'm sure the Samsung can.

SE (it's a 6S gubbins in a 5S body) can do ApplePay but not wireless charging, no iPhone does (yet) without using a third party battery backpack.
