This one was as it was used so would be roughly a 3rd of a new 828 which speaking to a few (4) 828 owner's and drivers I'll stick to my old 7930 for reliability

Shows the difference between individual machines. The 7930 I had was by a long way the most unreliable tractor I’ve ever owned. Almost didn’t buy another Jd. Hopefully the 6250 will be a bit better.

The arse is worse with sitting on it all day so no point patching the knee and I don't like sitting on patches!! Come to think of it I'll have had nothing patched in 20 yes since I left home
Right next to the auto steer. One hand can do everything with very little movement. Only time hms is used here os combi drilling with these modern tractors there's little enough to do so having to move mu hand 4 inches isn't exactly taxing !!.

A big comfy American seat and very good vision for a big lump of a thing no big dashboard helps

horses for courses but I find those seats some of the most uncomfortable places to sit all day out of any I’ve driven. In fact the only recent jd seat I liked was in a 6170r.
Much prefer the seat in my 927 Fendt. Can be in there 14-18 hrs a day no problem.

We bought this 3 yrs ago and have only put 1000 hrs on it's had a set of injectors last summer but needed them when we bought it and an exhaust manifold. It leads a fairly charmed life here 3m sumo and 4m combi drill so will hopefully be fine for a few more years. I do about as many hrs on these older ones than the R series so much so I prefer these cabs and seats now

Spent plenty 14 +hour days in my valtra N4and no complaints apart from the air con gets to cold ;)
Used to have a bad back and it disappeared when the old N3 got traded in

You obviously not spent a lot of time on an open top combine , or the old tractors , with a clutch that knackered your knee ,like our browns ,or ford 7000 , ,the noise and heat from the primative tin rattle cabs , and endured days on end with the dust from baler ,
Best tractor when about 15 was super major with 360 t in it @norse may remember it in 75/76 ,was very quick down the road with big combine wheels on it , or 282 leyland just for exhaust whistle ,
Worst tractor 1690 brown , fan assisted oven on wheels ,thats why they painted chassis black to hide all the leaks ,
You can keep your nostalga tractors now ,ok for a bit of fun for a road run or bit of match ploughing ,but would not want to go back to the left lung knackering ,dusty ,knee knackering ,thumb breaking no power steering piles of sh!t some where
