Think this whole idea about designers don’t drive machines is wrong. Father had a jcb fastrac for 6 months. This was two years before it came out officially . Mate who I was a student with is a chief designer for JCB Agri.
Can you get him to wander down the paint shop and replace the black can; it ran out about 5 years ago. Thanks.

I can see what you’re saying. I’ve just deliberately specced our new 6r to tidy it all up a bit. No premium front linkage and 5 spools so I don’t have to keep turning taps. It’ll leave the front linkage Control (spool 1) next to the rear linkage Switch So they’re together. Front spool is T’d to spool 2, so when I’m mowing 2 is front mower lift and 3 is rear mower lift, again the switches on the same bank.

Added bonus of not having to save the joystick settings every time the tractor is started. It wouldnt suit everyone but I’m really not a fan of having re configurable buttons all wrapped around a joystick. With this setup everything will be where it belongs and anyone who jumps on will be able to work it out.
Why not just programm ,itec

If every headland was square I would. Unfortunately they’re not. Especially with the front and rear trailed mower. The in/out times between the 2 vary massively depending on what way you approach the land work and what direction it’s angled.

Mrs Y would be horrified if she caught me wearing trousers in that state. I would be changed into another pair and the sewing machine would be out before I could say 'Yes dear'.

I love her so much!
