Thanks fella.
I'm having exactly the same problem with mine. Split/have gone thin at the top of the foot behind the big toe in less than a year. Very disappointing considering the price of them. I'll probably go back to the Dunlop Purofort.I know this has been done heaps of times but I'm onto my second pair of Skellerups, first pair lasted about 6 months and they exchanged them free of charge,2nd pair has just lasted fully a year but have gone on exactly the same place where the crease is across the top of your toes,so what do I try now?
Problem is the Skellerups are very comfy
Bekina thermolite, i wear mine 365days of the year to much amusement but i like my wellingtons.I know this has been done heaps of times but I'm onto my second pair of Skellerups, first pair lasted about 6 months and they exchanged them free of charge,2nd pair has just lasted fully a year but have gone on exactly the same place where the crease is across the top of your toes,so what do I try now?

+1 For Hoggs Wellies.I bought a set of Hoggs neoprene with Vibram sole.
I like them a lot. Ive tried everything from Chameau to Muckboots to Bullseyes.
Le Chameau Vierzonord I have slim calves and find these fit perfectAny recommendations for ladies? The ones I have just now are a wee bit bulky.
I was going to say Bekina Steplites, but my second pair in 11 months have gone this morning Bend of foot-exactly same place as last time-seems to be a weak spot Last pair were replaced FOC, but might have to try something different.Big plus 1 for Bekina

Dunlop Purofort were always OK, but a lot colder than Bekina, and the soles soon went to slicks.
What are other dairy farmers wearing these days?
Bought my Le Chameau after my 2nd pair of Aigle parcours split. So comfy and warm (I got the neoprene boots as toes get frozen in winter)

Exactly the same here. Love the Red Bands, but have gone through 2 pairs in 12 months - both where the crease crosses your toes. Obviously a big weakness in their product!I know this has been done heaps of times but I'm onto my second pair of Skellerups, first pair lasted about 6 months and they exchanged them free of charge,2nd pair has just lasted fully a year but have gone on exactly the same place where the crease is across the top of your toes,so what do I try now?
