Local to us, wife worked with him the year before, she has always said that he didn't do it. Local rumours say that there were some bad people from the drugs trade involved - no idea really though.

I can remember this when it happened, it was a dreadful thing. From what I remember of the botched investigation and then the subsequent one which lead to his being found guilty, from what I read in the newspapers, the TV adaptation was accurate.

I need to catch up on this. What I have read seems to be some dysfunctional goings on. The farmland was half owned by his (fathers) brother yet he didnt know. The family jealous of each other. Stealing from the caravan business when he was already being given privileges. Back stabbing girlfriend. Calling each other psycho. Its all a little twisted. Complicated its difficult to know who is telling the truth and who is twisting it. Sad.

don’t mind giving light but will not give money until they learn the value of it , when you earn it from working yourself you learn the value and don’t become a spoilt little sh!t that wastes it on drugs etc .

The tv dramatisation gave the impression that the police made a lot of mistakes right from the start as regards evidence being destroyed etc, I wonder if we will ever know the truth of it.
