I totally disagree, by your reckoning JRM should be campaigning to stay in , as his constituents voted heavily remain!
In theory we vote for our MPs , not for a party, I personally respect JRM and JC , they are a number of a small band, who stick solidly to their principles.
I think someone put a map up on here of how the ref vote by constituency and it was overwhelmingly leave, I wouldn't care which ones it was but if all MPs campaigned as you put it as there constituents voted things would be very different

You know.
One of the most outrageously funny statements I've heard for years, is from that ignorant tit, James O'no brain, when he said ....... "If Brexit is a success, (which it will undoubtably will be....my words), it will be because fellas like me will roll our sleeves up and put our shoulders to the wheel".
Unbelievable.

And what are you going to do to help the UK though this debacle.

We don't exactly know how the constituencies voted as they were not necessarily counted by constituency. But the guesstimates put it at around 64% of all seats voted leave.

Yes its legal.

You elect an MP.

The Party is not even recognised

Its a bit like "i am a human being who happens to support Man United"

Must have different voting papers where you are,the one I put my cross in at the last election clearly stated the candidate name and what party they stood for

As i said my name is Joe Blogs and i happen to be a Tory. You may also have noticed on a ballot paper Joe Blogs and i happen to be an Independent.

You vote for an MP not a party it just happend that safe Tory/Labour seats tend to vote for a Tory/Labour MP. In my Constituency you coukd have- Gatepost who happens to be a Tory - the Gatepost will win.

Will the new group put an end to the deselection process in both major parties?
If you move to deselect any MP, they leave and your party is weaker, so surely both parties try to stop the practice for now?

It is entirely legal, though not particularly moral - as I have written before, law should not be conflated with justice and, it seems, nor should morality in its political sense.

But, as mentioned in an earlier post, this lot can be forced to have by-elections, via 'moving the Writ', but it would require a majority of MPs to support it.

I don't think it matters a jot who is in this new 'group', or that its size is greater or smaller than the DUP or the Liberals. All that matters at the moment is which way a given MP will vote on the key issues, and this lot 'defecting' won't change how they vote; nor will the rebels in either Labour or Tory ranks change their voting intentions.

More to the point.
What are you (as a self designated inclusive.....even though you've already fekked off) doing/going to do?

I average approximately £5000 pounds of imports from the UK every year, their are about 350-400 expat farmers in the region who probably do similar. So £2 million added to the UK's bottom line from a very small group, isn't to be sniffed at. Add to that, all the other ex pat business on the go that will do similar across Europe and it's a sizeable chunk of money. But there again I am not just an armchair politician, I actually do something for my country.
