Who is going to kelso.

I'm not, to soft for my place, but who's going and what's on the shopping list, supposed to be all outside no big tents this year. Should be a good sale, cabbage feed Suffolks anyone.

The tweed will run yellow with Bloom if it rains. And won’t most of the texels die of heatstroke/ hypothermia/ exposure anyway, as most of them won’t have seen the outside of a shed in months. Too busy munching cabbages and tup mix !🤦‍♂️
People keep buying them so who can blame the sellers.

Just like the men still go out with women who wear make-up, do you blame the woman or the men who favour them.

St Boswells mart used to have a sale of tups which had been ''knocked down' at Kelso but for various reasons were never paid for and were just left behind by the supposed buyers.

Great day out though ! Bring cash for beer/ ice cream etc but not for tups. Get yourself to Lockerbie for a Cheviot tup!

I'd actually say you might get better value for £££ buying a Cheviot at Kelso than Lockerbie...

I quite want to go to Kelso seeing as it's all outside - throwback to the early days and one to say "I was at"... but I've been and done Kelso many times the charm isn't what it was. I wouldn't be buying, either - plus I've got 200 ewe lambs needing worked with tomorrow and Friday to keep my out of trouble!
