Who owns England & also who owns Scotland?

Here in Scotland there has been a move to update the Land registry and make it all digital and publicly available.
Spend a few thousand on it to ensure all was correct 4 years ago.
This website has its uses from time to time, if not that up to date

Think Andy Wightmans Who Owns Scotland has not been updated for a while.

Interactive map of England to show who owns what & where?

I bought Shrubshall's book "Who owns England". Its complete cr@p, a waste of time. Isn't it obvious that England is mainly owned by farmers (70% of England is farmed, 2/3 of farmers are owner / occupiers)? Yet farmers and agriculture barely get a mention in his book. He's obsessed with aristocrats, old money, grouse moors, inherited privilege conspiracy theories and twists the facts (or makes them up) to fit his class war agenda. He's a crank on the weird far left fringe of the Labour party.

It is surprising how much land is owned by holding companies in the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man. Is that how we should be running our farms? Sell the land to a holding company in such places and rent it back on a yearly basis?

I even saw a Duchy estate with a great splodge in the middle where the hotel is being owned by a Duchy estate company of the same name in Guernsey.

It really, really fricken annoys me that the price I paid for my house is visible to every busy body and nosey Karen in the country. Why do these websites and indeed the land registry have to make public such figures?

Think Andy Wightmans Who Owns Scotland has not been updated for a while.

He became a 'Green' MSP in 2016 to enable him to advance his 'land reform' agenda, but became embroiled in the 'Transgender Rights' issue that caused the Greens and SNP to spit out their respective dummies.
Wightman eventually resigned from the Green Party last December, and now sits in the Shortbread Senate as an Independent.

It's fairly accurate for an estate I might or might not have worked for in the past (cough), though there are a lot of gaps in the map where I know who owns what. A few other names I recognise elsewhere are all offshore fronts for UK domiciled people.
